The people who make the biggest difference in a technology team tend to share a few things in common. They take pride in their craft. They look for the broader context behind what they're building. They're naturally inclined to collaborate and to be generous in how they think about the people around them. Technical ability matters but it's rarely what separates good from great.

This working model has been shaped by years of conversations, placements, and long-standing involvement in Brisbane's technology community through groups like the Brisbane JavaScript Meetup, Brisbane DDD, and UQ's Computing Society.

It also informs how we work with companies. Every team has a story worth telling, but it needs to be told in a way that resonates with the right people. We spend time understanding what actually makes an opportunity compelling, then we communicate that honestly. The same goes for the candidates we represent: we make sure their story lands with the people who need to hear it. None of this works without the right people behind it.
